3, used in the pesticide industry as the intermediate for the manufacturing of Dimethoate, naphthalene acetic acid, sulphur cyanogen acetic acid, , herbicide 2, 4-d, and weedicide.
4, used in the pesticide industry for the manufacturing of indigo and naphthalene amino acid dyes.
